does anyone run 36 12.50 15 sx swampers on a 4runner? if so what kinda pressure. and do the side walls flex ok? my truck weight is now 5000 lbs.i was running ssr's and they flexed nice. thanks <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Hell yeah the SX's flex, they're the best offroad tire out there IMO. Notice I said offroad.
I run my 38's at 6 psi on the rocks. Never popped one, ruined a sidewall, or blown a bead. Farted a couple times if I get in a real nasty angle with a lot of the weight on one tire, but it held up.

SSR's flex nice cause they are radials. Which also means they have a thin side wall unlike the SX's. The SX's won't flex as much but who cares.

I have 33x15.50s on my '85. Usually run 7-8 psi on the rocks and get decent sidewall action. I've gone to 5 but find I start pinching the tire between the rim and rocks too often. A taller sidewall and I could go lower.

In snow or sand, 1-2psi and you start getting the wrinkled sidewall.

My Runner is alittle lighter than that. I run 38 SX's with 5 psi. They flex dam good. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

on my 5200lb 4runner i run my 36sx's @ 6-9 depending on what i'm doing, and on my 82 i run then @ 1.5 rear and 2.5 front, they flex DAMN good!!

hey big bird thats what I got you saw it at the show <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> Haven't gottem the new tires on the trail yet but will be this weekend I'll let you now.The seemed to flex pretty good at the the ramp contest but I was running them at 6psi. <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
