So I was a lucky one who had to grind off an inch of my shift rail, but what is the point in beveling the end of it like it comes stock? Any reason? Would be a PITA to do because I am just working under the Jeep.
i had to do it on my first SYE....you should bevel the edge..but make sure you tae enough off of it...it wont shift if you dont...i didnt grind enough but did grind a tin bevel in it..well when it didnt work out, i ground the bevel out of it and it worked fine...
**do not listen to me, just giving personnel experience that worked for me. i am not a mechanic**
