Ok today was my jeeps maiden voyage. With its new drive line a EFI302 t-18 205. It was working awsome I drove it to work. Drove it home then decide to take it out to go play. When done playing i was driving home got on to some decently clear rode(its winter here) and I thought "lets see what this baby can do", And then thats when it happen I was making the 3-4 shift and instead i made the 3rd 70kmh To reverse Shift. ANd now i cant get it out of reverse gate. ANd theres no reverse.


Any ideas if i completly F*cked it up. Or is there a shere pin or somthing.

Yes, you completely fucked it up

My friend (Girl of course) Took this guys keys when he was drunk and took his truck out, but she said she couldn't get it into 3rd gear, and there was a lot of grinding between 1st and 2nd. I asked if she had the clutch pushed in the whole way (as his truck wouldn't shift cleanly if you didnt) She didn't know what a clutch was. She had grinded the gears into submission. Yours is worse though I think.

i think you ave sucsessfuly f*cked your tranny :flipoff2:

take te cover (just a few bolts) off and do a visual inspect , sounds like you have some gears broke or melted

Today I took the top off the transmission...and yeap it definitely went it to reverse. The bottom of the reverse fork is borken and the rear bearing now lyies in the bottom of the trannie. On the plus side the inners look really clean and the gears look dull and in really good shape. None of the gears or anything else apears to be broken.

I just dont understand how it went into reverse so eassy. It Felt like it was foruth gear. The reverse gear is also non synchronized. I cant even down shift from 2-1 with out it grinding. Inless you time it perficted.

Is there any thing else i should look\?
