i have an 86 and i am going flatbed, and can get a taco cab with interior fairly easy. what is involved in the swap? is it bolt on? thanks

Talk to Snowchucker. he is the only one I have heard of doing this swap.

whats your secret on getting the cab easily?? I looked for a long time
damn, I had 10 of those things laying around the yard but I cut them up to make half doors <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">

Its pretty easy--just torch off every stock mount and fab up some new ones.
Mine is a 98 xcab sitting on a 85xcab frame. About 16" were chopped out from the front of the bed to make it fit on the frame. If your going flatbed, you should have no problem.
