I'm still searching but time is runing short, have till this Fri. 7th.

Anybody know about what's the differance from TBI and CPI 4.3 motor? Like how many O2 sensors 2or 4? I want a smog legal rig.
I read that the CPI is 20% more horse power and fuel economy.

I'm looking to install a 97 CPI from a S-10 super sport 2wd. It has Crane lifters, springs and cam shafts. said to be 265HP.

I want an easy motor swap for 4 runner , don't want to mess with 4 O2 sensors and a big computer.

Any links or advise would be great!

The TBI 4.3's were rated @ 160hp & CPI's @ 195 - 200hp.

if you want easy go with TBI. I dont know how hard CPI is to set up but TBI cant get much simpler. CPI does seem to be much more powerful.
