Well since I had to take apart my th400 to put in a new output shaft I figured I might as well rebuild it well I have it apart. Any recomendations on any specific brand or should I just run down to napa and order one up? Thanks

One from NAPA should be just fine, I've had good luch with TH350 kits from them in the past. See what they have in stock, then tear into your tranny. I say tear your tranny apart first because if you have a few burnt steels, get a master kit that has new ones in addition to new frictions which should be replaced either way. Be sure to soak the new friction discs in ATF overnight before installing, they tend to last much longer that way.

Don't mean to Hi-jack the thread.

I'm interested in this TH-400 info myself.

Does anyone have any experiance with the Art Carr rebuild kits and how they compare to B&M or a NAPA kit?

Thanks
