The Evolution of FrankenRover - Episode 1

This is going to be a picture thread of the Evolution of FrankenRover. From his humble beginnings back in 11/97 to the current incarnation. I will post picts til I get tired, then post some more later. Questions and comments will be appreciated. Later,

Billster

1st Picts are of the D90 brand spankin' new in 11/97. I bought it while Sandi was out of town. When she came home, she came running in saying - "Hey, one of the neighbors got a cool Yellow D90". Little did she know this was the start of something special (or should I say pathological).

ps. Thanks Mikey for that one! BTW that picture is so detailed (shot with Mikes Nikon SLR dig camera), that blown up, you can see the time and date on my watch, and the sheit coming out of the door seals.

Thank heavens I had the 'smell-a-vision' feature turned off.

This is the last pict in the thread as the PBB is just friggin' crawlin' for me right now and this is too painful slow. Stay tuned to your local stations for episode two.

ps. It was lots of fun driving the 90 around like this on the highway. Got lots of looks anyway.

Bill,
thanks for the thread, looking forward to the rest of the pics.
The last year we were in hawaii I had the 88 like that everyday for work, loved it.

The 110 chassis and some body parts (had a new bulkhead, but sold it and reused the 90 bulkhead).
