Was curious what everybody runs as far as tire size and gear ratios.
It seems that I may need to change something to get more tire speed.

For starters, what are you working with?
Motor, trans, transfer case, axles, ratio, tire size?

That will help us, help you, instead of everyone telling you specs that still won't help you at all.

85 k5 with Dana 60 corp 14 bolt with 4.56 gears and lockers. 383 stroker with 450hp and a turbo 400 with reverse valve body ,3500 stall and a np241. 38.5 boggers

Can you spin 2nd gear, low side? I would think you'd be just about right with that combo.

I'm running a 408" SBC ~420HP, TH350, 2.28:1 Toyota T-case, & 4.37 gears with Q78 TSL's in 2nd low. You've got a bit more tire & not quite as many cubes, but 4.56's & 2.6:1 low range. Would think it would even out.

I have no problem in 2nd gear low side spinning the tires have been thinking about trying 3rd but little worried. The pit I was in this weekend was 4-5 foot deep. I was dragging the rear ends pulling up to the start line.
