What will you be using it for? I'm guessing that you'll just be cruisin' around, since a 3" body lift won't hold up to serious wheelin'. Get some Thornbirds, they're the perfect poser tire.

GEEZ ppl, give him a break... maybe he'll have the next taco SAS BUT, i would recommend BFG MT's for an all around cruisin, wheelin tire.....or SSR's.....but if you havent put that body lift on yet, get a 2" BL and if your rich a 4" susp. and dont run bigger than 33's.......rack and pinion steering donest like 31's let alone 33's.....but if ya got the 3" BL on, just get BFG's and wheel it, the bug will bite you...and maybe you'll SAS ...BUT....alot of guys on this board run 3" BL....i dont like BL's at ALLLL, BUT if they didnt hold up, i dont think so many ppl here would use them? granted no BL is better than one, but sometimes its necessary....correct me if i'm outta line, just stirrin the pot

I agree, I would get the 2", I didn't have to do any of the extending or moving that's involved with the 3" (I have an elec. fan, no shroud!). You will have to move the bumpers, but you won't have to extend the steering shaft or shifters. As for tires, BFG's or the MTR's work best.

2" body lift. 3" causes too many headaches as well as causing added stress to frame. 2" body gives you great room to work under the truck, makes taking the tranny out an eaiser job, creates air flow between the exhaust and floor boards, as well as create more room for tires.

Take the board abuse in stride. The annonymous nature of the net causes a swelling action in some people's heads.
