1. Make your own mounts
2. Yes a 700r4 is alot longer than your stock transmission. So that means a shorter rear and a longer front driveshaft.
3. To save some green, S-10's and Blazers had 231's mounted on 700r4's so you dont have to buy an adapter.

First: SBC + 700R4 is the SAME LENGHT than your 4.0 I6 + AX15 (or NV3550) which means you keep your actual drivelines.

Second: S-10's and Blazers never came with 231's. They came with NP233's which are different system. The inners are interchangeable but they are not 231's starting by the fact the 233 has a 5 bolt pattern and a 231 has a 6 bolt pattern.

These wont work on a TJ (maybe with a radius arm front suspension) but not a long arm 3/4 link or stock.

Those look like the ones that Advance Adapters sells as their "Offroad" mount for CJ/YJ

TJ to SBC mounts:
713090 SBC to TJ 4 cyl. https://eshop.advanceadapters.com/commerce/ccp1388-28p-n-71309029-chevy-v8-engine-28replacing-4-cyl-29-m-713090-713090.htm
713091 SBC to TJ 6 cyl. https://eshop.advanceadapters.com/commerce/ccp1389-28p-n-71309129-chevy-v8-engine-28replacing-6-cyl-29-m-713091-713091.htm

You may be able to make them work. But I would be apprehensive. They may need to be modified. The TJ frame rails have a bit more of a roll to them to clear the front axle than a YJ or Cj.
I really want a set of those bad boys for a TJ!

First....your right on the first part.

Second.....your wrong on the second. 89-91 s-10 blazers DID come with a 231tcase. In fact....it's a called a 231C case.....and in fact....they also came on certain models with a 231C HD model that had the beefier shaft, gears, chain and 6 planetaries. Oh....and yes....it's a 5 bolt pattern. :shaking:

Third....the mounts you quoted from ebay...are MORE engine mounts. Give them a call, go to their website. I'm sure they can fix you up.
