I know, I know. Tuesday. But it's Wednesday, and I need some input. Working on a Inchworm V6 adapter, and I can't get the splined coupler to SLIDE onto the trans output shaft. It'll slide onto the 23 spline input for the t-case, from both sides, but in my test fit on another trans I had laying around, no matter how I orient it, I have to beat it a couple of times with the harbor freight deadblow special to get it on the output shaft. And then repeat the exercise, only this time in reverse, to remove it.

I've read on Marlin's site that their coupler does take some persuasion, but this amount of force seems over the top. I've called Low Range, and they don't have anyone from Inchworm there anymore, and they can't find any info relating to the issue I'm having.

What am I missing?
