i have seen quite a few people tow with ZJs. what is so bad about towing with a grand?? is it to small, or is it lack of power??

In this case, the lack of power is a good thing. Will keep the speed down to a more reasonable level. Problem is you don't have the heft, suspension, & wheelbase necessary to tow very safely. You'll be okay until that one time something stupid happens (someone cuts you off, deer in the road, etc). Then, LOOK OUT!
