For the guys running toy axles....Did you have to upgrade your master cylinder or can you get away with the stock sammy master cylinder and booster??:confused: I would like to have brakes that work after the axle swap.:D

what yag said only if going to rear disk should you need to upgrade the M/C

HELL NO DUDE!!!! Get rid of that stock crap!!!! I have disk all the way around and I used a stock ......(looking both ways).....YJ master......(looking both ways). I can lock them rite up! It will bolt rite to the sammy booster with a little silly cone!

Since Im running 42" swampers I went to four runner vented four piston calipers all around with a master cylinder from an FJ80!

Brakes are scary good!


Oh yea, I put in a proportioning valve too!

Did you put in a proportioning valve?

I just added rear disk brakes and I can lock up the front easily with the stock MC but the rears don't lock up, I have to pump them a few times.

I'm with Az...D44 calipers in the front toy V6 drums in the rear with 37s...I have brakes like crazy.
