The Tacoma style was released in 95', but the 2nd. generation body was still produced for part of that year. So to answer ur ? OPPS ....Yes it is 95'

The diffs in 4runner's still haven't changed, so your 82 diff will fit a 2001 4runner if you want. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
The only difference w/ your older diff is that the driveshaft bolt pattern is different and for smaller bolts than the later ones, but the flange can be re-drilled. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> http://www.off-road.com/toyota/flange.html
