I recently replace the SS Iroks on my jeep with a set of Toyo MT. So far, I'm not impressed. These things don't really seem to do very well on the rocks. Is it because of the hard compound of this tire? Share your thoughts on this as a rock tire.

thats funny, i just recently got some iroks and got rid of my toyos on my f150.

they are known for getting a ton of miles for a MT. mine did okay in the mud but they're no rock tire. i got around 40,000 out of them and my alignment was off most of the time.

The Toyos ARE DEFINITELY a "hard" compound,
and will be much less effective on rocks.
