It was a fun trip, and I wish more would have shown up, but our group was just the right size to get through everything. It was a great time though.

To Hell with all of you wusses who didn't make the trip -- Even those of you I know!

Seriously, I had a pretty good time. The downtime I spent welding my front spring perches back together kind of sucked, but at least I brought the welder. My ARB leaking all to hell sucked, but at least I was able to "power through" stuff when needed. One thing that didn't suck was the small turnout. We had plenty of trail time with the small group. Little RickTURD disappointed me a bit, but hey, we all know the "soon to be wife" runs that show. Or at least he played it that way :) Those shackles of his were a bit screwed up. I'm glad my skyjackers don't look that bad.

At least my junk didn't fail me too bad and the winch was only used to hold my springs to the frame on the way back down Lower Power Line --- It was a cool trick and Robert's picture doesn't really do it justice. 3-stage at night is always a good run too...

Yeah, I wondered where the pics of Ricky were on Sunday but are you trying to say wifezilla doesn't rule the roost around your crib?

She doesn't rule the wheeling! However, that is my Sugar Momma... Everybody needs their own CPA around to keep those wheeling funds flowing through. Unlike most people who pay their CPA's, mine pays me

When she doesn't want to wheel, she stays home or gets out. She may argue with me at obstacles, but I always win. That's why I'm always breaking stuff. If I would listen to her more often, I'd have less repair work...

Now when she's driving, I usually get out and video anyway. She can hold her own behind the wheel. She's not a hard core wheeler, but she likes to get her share of driving in.

Take it easy, I got a short tempered red head here . Well I informed her that these trips are a guy thing from now on. She was mad that I left her at the room by herself for 4 hours though. I think my little stunt on upper-p-line scared her too. . Yep, I wussed out on Sunday, she wanted to get back because we found out Sat. night her grandmother passed so off we went. But I still have no reason to make excuses .Next time, no woman there for me, I cant pay attention to her and the wheeling at the same time, I tried, it doesn't work. Oh well, If I can ever finish working out something with my rear susp, Ill be ready to go again.

Wanted to be there really bad...didn't get the rear bumper done and still having that recurring clutch malfunction...the MC doesn't move the SC far enough to completely release the clutch.....I wonder if Brandon was able to fix his identical problem....I am going to try a Ford clutch MC this weekend and see if it will make the LC SC move far enough to completely release that badboy Centerforce II......I'll get to Clayton eventually.....maybe even Disney...will definitely run the slabs down on the Brazos...

Yeah, I'm pretty much like everyone here who didn't make it. I reallllly wanted to go. I did however solve my wife problem by scaring the crap out of her now she doesn't even get close to the Yota. I really need to hook up with Ricky sometime and check your truck out. I haven't seen it in about a 1 yr or so looks like you have made some drastic improvements. Except for the rear springs of course

Those dang rear springs are . I am seriosly thinking about just ordering some quality springs form maybe AOR with the orbit eye's. If I can't get the Chevy rears to work out soon, I may have mine dearched and just run a longer shackle. I think it would help some?

BTW, I may try and make it to Clayton for that Carnage in Clayton deal, or the October trailfest deal, looking like Oct. I am trying to get a cage before then, nd fix my spring dilema.

I know I'm running down at Clayton on the 29th of Sep. I don't know if that is carnage weekend or not. But in Oct. I will be prepping for rocktoberfest in AR. So I doubt I will make to Clayton in Oct. As far as your rear springs go I am having really good luck running jeep commanche springs (57") out back with a 18" long goofy leaf. Since the springs were initially sprung under I did very little modifications before I put htem in. I'll try to attach some pics but these are nowhere near full travel.
