It will work but you have to swap out little metal piece bolted to the TPS that engauges the throtle body butterfly shaft.

If you search under plenum and TB conversion you should be able to find something, also.

They will bolt/plug right in. However, if you're using a later style t-body/intake, the metal part Rick is talking about will need to be changed out.

a 4age 1.6L used the same tps and it will bolt right on for you.

i got a 91 tps off a 22re. it was the lowest mileage so i nabbed it.

the wires are different colors and so i chopped off the plug in off the wiring harness. i figure the wires probably hook in the same as the 85 and are just different colors. what do you think? i am going to do the upper plenuim conversion too. i just need to go back and get the intake off the other truck.

how should i wire this.

does anyone have a wiring diagram of the 3 gen trucks?

thanks. i have a serious adiciotn to this stupid little truck!:D

The connectors on the later TPS's are different so it won't plug right in.:)
You are right! I was wrong. I just looked at mine and I see the difference now, Duh. When I did my swap I just used the old TPS with the new metal barcket on the new TB so it would match my wiring.

The haynes book shows a wiring diagram of each.
