Here's the new cage and the 'Kick now sits about 4" lower than the above pic. I'm aiming at losing another 4". That IS NOT AN EXO CAGE. It is only outside the body lines around the windsheild frame. The entire front clip was/is replaced by tube, but will look stock when completed.

95Geo---Warn makes kind of a cool flare for the Kick/Tracker that almost replaces the whole damn thing! I do not know how much they cut out, though.

flares

twisted, im buildin it like yours
d44's,38's on a 95"wb and my overall height will be about 74"
so i dont think flares will do me any good, just another thing to get riped off on the trail

my main concern is where the filler door is in the rear and the front with the headlights

Well, I'll put it this way: If you want to run 38s, and actually wheel it at all-The front clip has to take a trip. That's where I'm sitting now, trying to fit fenders to tube. I'm having difficulties making the factory grill/headlights even fit. I stretched the front clip out about 3 extra inches to clear the new aluminum radiator, the headlights will not fit at all, the blinkers had to get removed, and I still want it to look basically stock:rolleyes: . I may just give in to the dark side and just tube it all, but I'll still try to retain the center of the grill.
The rear is cut out as far back as you will want to go. I just chopped right through the middle of the gas filler(literally, my plasma torch reaches farther than I thought!!), I'll figure out how to fix it later:) . Any farther back and you lose function of the rear gate, unless you don't need it, which will open up a lot of doors. Also, any farther back and I would have had to move the gas tank. Keep us posted on your progress. Here's a pic of it trying to stuff. After trimming, I kept only 1" in front of the taillights and cut it off even with the bottom of the taillights.

Oh yeah-What style suspension are you planning to run? I had my 60s narrowed to 63" and I wish the would have been a little wider. The damn tires hit everything under there. If you run Toyota or Waggys, don't even think about coils. It may, however be possible if you can run a really short coil directly under the frame rail.

in the front im doing a 3 link with a panhard and aerostar coils
for the rear i havent decided the link config. but it will be a 4 link of sorts with aerostar coils too.

ill have scout d44's with 38x12.5 sx's (37.00" tall) on 2" bs wheels and ill be about 80"oaw

i have an idea for some cutouts but they will be really tight around the tire, pm me your email and ill sent you a few files

DO NOT do a 3 link oin the front axle unless you are going with full hydro steering, which I also would not do with a 44. I'm in that boat right now. My steering angles are almost PERFECT and everytime I turn the wheel a tiny bit, the truck about falls over! The ONLY thing I can hope for right now is that my hydro assist ram is just slightly faster than my pitman arm and will beat it to the punch, otherwise I'll have to go full hydro as well.
A couple of other questions--Are you sticking with the stock motor? If YES, then the Aerostar coils would work, BUT you can't really run a straight axle with the stock engine crossmember in place. At least not and keep it sitting nice and low.
I seriously would not run Aerostars in the front-just way too soft. I'm running Rubicon Express 5.5" coils and they are perfect. Hell, they might even be a little too soft, I don't really know yet.
