I was considering a trail gear orbital valve(among others), that is until after hours of searching turned up almost nothing on how they work. This raises some concerns for me as I know how sometimes bad reviews on certain products can sometimes go missing...... Anyway without starting a vendor bashing session does anyone have 1st hand knowledge (as in yourself or seen with your own eyes on someones truck) on how these valves perform?

From what I have gathered by scouring the interwebs I have come to the conclusion that this valve is,

1. Not a normal load reactive valve

2. Not a name brand (char-Lynn, Eaton, ect.....)

3. Actually tries to return to center through some pressuring of the R and L ports at neutral

4. one report claimed that when turning full lock you could continue to turn the wheel after the ram was maxed

5. one report claimed that when turned full lock and gassing it the wheels would straighten back out on there own

So....... are these facts, or merely internet garbage?

The price is good, but I know you get what you pay for. I have never dealt with trail gear and honestly I have seen a lot of mixed reviews on there stuff.

Thanks for any input, and lets please keep this on topic and without any bashing. It either works or it doesn't, it it does I think the price is there and it would be good if it was a viable option. If its junk, then people should know that to.

Thanks guys, looking forward to your response.(I think......:shaking:)

i think, but could be wrong. all full hydro wheels will keep slowly turning if you are out of ram and continue to pull on the wheel.

I am aware of that, but they were saying it turned alot, like you where still turning. What ever was happening it wasn't the normal slow drag feeling.
