Sorry guys. Been awhile...It was 12 rounds and they were large. I’m not a gun guy, but I could fit my pinky in them. My truck lost its trans going up ice house road that night and a friend parked the trailer just down the road from the Chalet on a turn out, because he was nervous about pulling in at night.

I have always parked up there and I have never heard of or had any problems.

Hate to be the first you hear of it from, but there have been times in the past where I would staff the kiosk to hand out wag bags and spill kits to wheelers and would talk with people that were victims of theft.

The paved road that allows access to the Chalet and spillway also allows trashy people that happen to camp at any of the other grounds nearby. You'll see little gang banger type of people here and there, and they'll swipe something from the back of your truck or your fishing gear from the shoreline if you leave it unattended.
