I have an 89 Toy and lately it has been hard to shift. No matter what gear or speed, it is reluctant to go into gear. Even when downshifting. The tranny has about 150,000-200,000 miles on it. The clutch is about a year or so old. Could it be the little plastic piece on the end of the shifter? Any suggestions?

if it's not the tranny oil that has to be a synchro problem meaning time to rebuild... so try the tranny oil and see what happens

Well as an update:
I did some looking and found that the pedal assembly had broken. When I pushed on the pedal the bracket would flex and not push the clutch cylinder. So I'm off to weld it up and throw it back in. It was kindof a pain getting the assembly out. I wasnt going to weld it in the cab either.
