I'm drilling the flanges for my new driveshaft but when I line up the holes for the tcase flange they overlap the old holes a little. Is this ok? It doesn't seem like a safe idea but I'm no expert so someone tell me what to do.
heres a picture, the white spots are where i'd be drilling the new holes.

thanks

usually re-drilling is done on round flanges, and the holes are clocked 45degrees so there's no overdrilling, i'd try to do it with a round flange...

Go to a junkyard and bring a 30mm socket and a breaker bar. I wouldn't think that it'd cost you more than 10 bucks.

On a side note - and just for future reference - does a flange off of an axlehousing fit onto the t-case outputs, and vice versa?

so going to pick-n-pull and gettin a flange from a front axle housing off a toy with the same axle will work fine as the tcase flange?

Whats the best way to take a flange off the tcase?
