Hmmmm, the AT looks wierd for an AT.
I do like the siping in the MT, BFG doesn't have that.

Does it have 3-ply side-walls, like the BFG, or just 2-ply like most other tires ?

If you're going to get something that says INTERCO on the sidewall, it should either look like <a href="http://www.intercotire.com/assets/images/super_swamper_tsl-200.jpg">this</a> or like <a href="http://www.intercotire.com/assets/images/interco_tsl_bogger-200.jpg">this</a>.

According to the interco site, this newer one is target primarily for utility purposes. Because of this, the tire has quite a few plies (either 8 or 10) in order to support vehicles needing load rage D tires. I would expect it to flex less than other swampers do when aired down do to this havier construction, and therefore have less grip on rocks.

The tread pattern alone is enough to confirm it will suck in mud compared to other swamper tires. This new tire is just their version of a typical radial mud terrain (like a BFGMT, or a Mud Rover or something) but with a higher load rating.

It sound like you're not interested in the regular swampers becasue of their poor tread wear and on-road-suckability in general. I personally would recommend the MT/R by Goodyear. My friend has run them on a daily driver 350HP K5 with a detroit locker in the back (not exactly the best setup for tread life) and still has 80% tread after two years. That's why I'm currently running 33" MT/Rs.

Plus, if you are lucky enough to have a 4WheelParts store near you, they will match the <a href="http://www.tirerack.com">TireRack's</a> price, which is $150-ish for the 33s and 35s.</font>
