I am looking into getting some tubing from a tubing company...ie. free. They work with metric everything. This is DOM tubing....

My Question is:

The tubing is 44.0 mm tubing which converts to 1.732 in. tube. Will this work in my 1.75" bender? I assume that it will with that close of tolerance.

PLEASE TELL ME THIS WILL WORK!

IM NOT WHO YOUR LOOKING FOR BUT MY BUDDY USED MY 1.75" DIE TO BEND 1.625 TUBING ......HAD NO PROBLEMS

He can get either 1010 or 1020.... Which should I get.. Or should I get something else?

if the tube you are using is slightly smaller, use a folded terry cloth rag between the tube and the die, and it will work great.

Don;t know about the die (but I'd guess yes)

but the 1020 is what you want

Yes it will work! you may get a more defined start and stop lip but that is about it!

go for it.. and yes 1020 is the stuff!

Aaaaight, Now I just have to see what kind of giving mood the company is in... They only makes about 10,000 ft. a day...
