I built a turbo 400 for my buggy. Ran a powerglide before with the
modulator valve non-operational. The trans guy that did my valve
body for the 400 said to keep it operational. This is mainly for racing
and some crawls.
So what do the racers run? Keep it working or plug it off?

Most racers porbably use a full manual valve body, so the vacuum modulator would not need to be connected.

I'm no racer, but I do know that you'll want it if you plan on using Drive (3rd gear) while cruising around. I tried mine with it unplugged and like it better hooked up.

So go buy some brake tubing and rubber hose to hook it up :flipoff2:
