I was wondering what kind of prices that you guys have been quoted for these parts. I was on the phone today with a guy we deal with at the shop I work for back home and the best he could find the Pinion install kit (minus carrier bearings) was $177, the kit was only $198 with the carrier bearings. He explained to me that the reason for this was because the pinion bearing was so expensive. Anyway, what kinds of deals have you all found? Thanks for the input.

Ooooooo, oooooo.....

I bought a nice kit from somewhere. (excuse me, I have CRS... )

It even had Koyo bearings if I remember right...
I think it was $107.....

I'll check my receipt when I get home. I have a pic of everything laid out in the box, too.

OK, so I couldnt find the pics or the reciept.....

I'm pretty sure when I called around, the best price was West Coast Differential. Had great customer service, and the kit is nice.
I was right, they are all Koyo bearings. These are the same bearings Toyota uses as OEM.

The kit was $107.

I payed $220 at a local place, full master IK. It was a bit much, but I trust this place (Tucson Diff), all Timkin bearings, and he sat down and explained everything to me, something you don't get on the net.

Was that 90 bucks for a V6/turbo kit wow that is cheap because until recently some of the bearings in those kits were availble only through toyota or overseas options which is why those kits are so high compaired to 4cly kits

When I got my gears, it was $79 for the 4 cylinder kit, and $99 or $110 for the V6/turbo install kit...

Still a lot cheaper than the prices I am seeing here
