Got to play with my twin stick on my dual case set up yesterday on the "Con" going into Spider Lake at the clean up. It was a kit in the butt to run a lot of the trail in two-wheel drive and having three different low gears. To those of you that said the twin stick on dual cases, it may be true but I do not think so , its a lot of fun and if you need four wheel you just shift on the fly. Do I think the twin stick was worth the two hundred dollars, you bet!!!! Isn't that what we wheel for is to have funn!!!!

Damn, this is an old post.
From my experience, if the hubs are locked (therefore the front shaft is already turning at the same speed as the rear) then it shifts into 4wd pretty easy. But going from 4 to 2 is a little harder than the other way.

good info to know, and yeah its an old post, but better than making a new thread and having someone tell me SEARCH, and then linking this post right. Searching is good =0

I have never had a problem either way.
You've been running that same setup awhile. Have any other issues with it? Or wish you would have done something different?

i have been running dual sticks for a while now and i think its a lot of fun to be able to shift it into 2wd and do muddy burnouts onto your friends truck.

that being said i did not buy it. it came as part of the transfer/tranny setup i found a good deal on.

Since 01. It is a FROR twin-stick that I bought from Marlin. Have not had any problems. Do not know what I could have done different. At one time I was going to do some BETA testing on Marlins rear disconnect t-case but that was put on a way back, back burner.

Usually when I need to attempt rear burn in comp. Havent had an issue on the trail.

Hit it harder...

I ran a marlin twin stick for 5 years and never had an issue with it not shifting at any time. If it didn't want to shift I'd just smack the fawker into or out of 4x. It put up with it just fine.
