I'm tryin to sort out a problem for a friend!

I search but couldn't find the specific answer!

Over here wheel rims for jeeps are pretty rare.
He wants to put 33"x12.50x15 BFG muds on 10"x15" no problem there, thats the right size rim for that tyre!

someone :confused:else is saying he will have no probs with 8" x 15".
What would you advise? bearing in mind that he airs down to 6 to 10 psi.
Which rim would he be better of with the least chance of popping a bead?
I say the10"x15"s.

TIA Daggie

I say the10"x15"s.
you say wrong...lol

section width x .66 is my rule...12.5 x .66 = 8.25, round to 8"

IMO, for trail use, 10" is too wide for a 12.5 tire. Your beads will fill with crap and you are much more likely to lose a bead at low pressure.
