I've seen the term 'PegGreg' in other posts...

I thought it was a verb.

Appropriate, but still a verb.

Tried selling a 02 Dodge cummins 5spd 4x4 for cheap on FB/CL. Posted plenty of pics, said in ad to bring a trailer, beat to fuck ranch truck, etc.

After 24hrs of stupid fucking questions, lowballs, and wetbacks... I give up, drove it around back, and parked it next to the rest of the trucks on the tree line. I may get around to it someday, I may not, dont care now. I'm going to be that old man with a junkyard who wont sell to anyone.

I'm buying a 04 cummins tomorrow with my white privilege though. Guy was also tired of dumb questions and "I'll pay cash and have a trailer" was the winning comment.
Shoot me a PM about it when you get a min.

I get the sarcasm, Never understood why retards that don’t live in a desert used the “dry heat” to make it sound like it was less hot. Friggin oven is a dry heat too but it’s still hot.

Going back to work Monday to see if they tell me to pack my shit and leave or stay the week and train one of the beginning fitters anything I can. Trying to decide whether to shave or not. New gig doesn’t require it. Current one does. Pretty sure I’m getting kicked out Monday but don’t want to shave if I don’t have to. It’s a few days away from not being “pokey”

Oh and wifey is pissed about stupid shit...but that’s normal. Should make for an interesting drive home for 13-14 hours with her and the 3 kids

Good girl
Mine are after the bears. I have never seen our bear population so strong in western mass. Not good for the deer herds, bears have been killing fawns left and right. Can’t wait for 9/3

Because (as hot as it may be) you can at least walk to your mailbox and back without soaking through your clothes. :flipoff2:

I have this big double squirrel cage fan hanging from the "C" purlins in my shop. Friday I decided it didn't put any moving air where I needed it.
It blows in the center of the shop floor at an angle.
And when I'm working on a vehicle up on the 2 post lift I get no air from it.
So Friday I was hot out there and thought I'm gonna put that bitch on rollers so it will roll on the underside of that "C" purlin. Had some old plastic mower deck wheel and made a trolly to hang the fan on under it.
Then put some pulleys on the ends and tied a long rope to it with the tails hanging down to move it across the shop. (Actually only half way across because of the shops main beam stops it half way.)

Yesterday I was out there swapping a bunch of tires around from one project to another and decided to try moving the fan to where I'd get air wherever I was. Just pull the rope and move it. Simple!

Why didn't I do this sooner? I must have moved that fan a dozen times and enjoyed the air blowing on me wherever I was working.

It actually got to be a hassle having to go move it with the ropes. So I'm going to buy a garage door opener and hook the ropes to it and move the thing remotely. Step Son owns a garage door business, so I'm going to have him build me one that has a 18 foot long track on it. 1/2 HP should be plenty as this thing rolls a lot easier than lifting a door. Maybe 5 lbs pull.

Well crap, it won't let me attach a picture from my phone again this morning.

Crazy crazy.

Got home Thurs night from Germany, went in Fri, left at 1, came home removed fallen tree from pool fence- which was really like 5 trees, but worked out well bc the fence took minimal damage.

Fri night I had to go jump start my aunt car bc it died at work. Dead dead, pita to get to bla bla.

Sat fixed the pool vac, mowed lawn, did a bunch of house stuff.

Sat evening I went to do a brake job for my aunts car and install new battery in the dead car. Realize she needs a front CV shaft, ok doing that to. Go to compress caliper- shot. Ok order them.

Get them this morning swap on and the one bleeder valve does not seat... fuck. She is getting a new one, but I have to leave bc I have a flight to MI this afternoon.

The BMW that got a new battery my scanner will not connect to to reset battery. WTF. check fuses, everything is 'good' but something is off bc it will not connect. Fuck again.

I need a beer or 10.

But now I need to pack and get in my car with no AC and drive to the airport in 100* temps. Should be fun.

Traveling for work is fun when you have a billion things to do.

the retards that don't understand why dry heat is different, I never understood

in "dry heat" you perspire and it evaporates and keeps the body "cool". in the south where it gets to 100% humidity, sweat doesn't evaporate. it's why swamp coolers and/or misting systems don't work here

I don't care what kind of shirts I wear, it soaks with sweat and then becomes extra insulating. shit don't wick when humidity is this high

Yup, here right now it is hot and humid. You are just soaked. When I was out in NM years ago it was stupid hot, but you stayed dry.

If you walk outside today you are just soaked. No breeze and 100* and muggy.

Growing up, I had a great aunt/uncle in El Paso. Retired, Airstream, yada yada yada. They would come visit us for a week or 2 every July in Texarkana (Mercer Bayou area). Every year it was "damn I am so ready to get back home where it's only 115"

Before you western folks start bitching... yes it's damn hot in the desert. You can't breathe. Your car interior is melting. Yes, it's awful. But anywhere in the deep south not on a coast is a special kind of awful.

Came home from the camp job on Thurs with some baddish news, a major haul we have under contract is no more, there is a possibility the terminal will shut down. On the positive side I will most likely transfer to the terminal here where I actually live, will lose a little money doing that but being home in my actual house every night will be worth it.

Yesterday I ventured out to my shop to find it fucking packed to the hilt with shit my GF is going to yard sale.

Backstory, she has been going to have this fucking yard sale for the last 2 years.

Sooooooo, she leaves for most of the day and I dump run all of it. 4 fucking Mexican loads and 1 more I couldn't get to the dump on time. This morning when she leaves for work she sees what I am up to and unloads the truck into the driveway. I load it back up and dump run that load too.

She got home a little while ago and asks where that stuff was, told her I did a dump run.

She says, oh at least it wasn't the good stuff.

She will be in for a rude awakening the next time she goes out to my shop.

If I had the time I would have changed the locks out there today.

And my flight was canceled. After hours of delays and sitting in the airport. So that was a fun waste of 8hrs of my life.

Now I get to go back and try to get on the noon flight tomorrow ( I am on stand by my co worker has a seat) and if not then sit in the airport until 4:35 when my flight is.

Absolute pita.

Mine saved me from 2 people walking in the neighbors yard, some leaves blowing, and a turkey. All from inside the trailer laying on the back of the couch looking out the window.
