Might concider a real set of heads for it - Like 96 and up vortec heads

The marine 4.3's don't flow too bad
I have a set - flowed 201cfm @ .450 lift - stock
now there all ported - sell em to ya if you want em
1996 newer vortec heads ~230cfm but have to use the right intake mani for it or mod the heads and the old intake to make it work
