Having problems with the idling on my V6 runner. It'll idle between 800-900rpms while in park. After driving awhile, at a stop light, the idle would drop down to 400-600rpms sometimes even hitting 300rpms. I would have to tap on the gas lightly to get the rpm's up, but after doing that it would return back to 400-600rpms and eventually the motor would cut out. I have cleaned the TB out, had the fuel injectors cleaned, the timing adjusted, the air/gas mixture adjusted and the problem is still there I'm thinking it's some kinda sensor or the TB to get replaced. Any ideas or solutions would be great to hear at this point of time ... this S**T is annoying ...

Try adjusting it when it is hot, and the idle has dropped low. I have a V6, manual tranny, and it behaves somewhat similarly. It seems to be directly related to OAT (Outside Air Tempature), the hotter it is, the lower it idles. Leads me to believe that it is related to the temp sensor in the MAS (Mass Airflow Sensor), but it is not serious enough to get me to tear into it. Good Luck
