It's time to get some rims and tires for the rig. I really want to go with 17" rims to bring the width in on my full width axles. Are the 37x12.50x17 any good with the E load rating? I've read most of the MTR posts, but didn't really get a good answer. Do they flex at all? BTW, they will be going on beadlocks.

The only guy I know running them said they kinda worked okay after he grooved them. Prior to grooving he wasn't that happy, the E load rating is just to stiff he said, but then he is running a really lightweight IFSxIRS buggy.

I'd go with 37x12.50x15 MTR and custom BS. If you want 17" rims wait for the BFG Krawker. Although, you didn't say if they were going on a DD, or trailer queen.

Definitely not a DD, but it will see probably 1000 miles per year at the most on the road. Thats what I was thinking about the stiffness but I'd like to hear some more real world results. Anybody?
