Never seen the vinegar before. I'm gonna have to try it.

I've done the electrolysis, that worked damn well until my sacrifical nodes were covered in rust:laughing: They couldn't take anymore off my rusty parts

That seems to work really well from the pictures. I have used this stuff called Evapo rust http://www.evapo-rust.com/ This stuff works. Just plain works. It's not the cheapest stuff, but it is totally effective. I would like to give the malt vinegar a try, it has to be WAY cheaper. I wonder if you could buy the vinegar in large containers (i.e. 5 gallons)?

Yup. Used it before, just don't really keep vinegar on hand.


Same thing as using Coke(the brand name soft drink) to remove corrosion on wiring, metal, etc.
