I am not the biggest Ford fan out there but this little motor has earned my respect.. 368 cubic in running on Methanol made 692 hp at 7500 rpm, this video is a pull all the way up to 8000 rpm. I think it made about 540 ft lbs around 5700. Its only about 1.2 mb.

Definately cool. I wish i had a Vid of the dyno pull on mybuddys racetruck engine. 500ci hemi. 894 hp at 7800 ran it up to 9500 rpm. Sounded like the friggin banshee. torque was in the 700 lb ft range at lie 6200. It is a monster. Now if he can find a drivetrain to hold up to it an a 250 shot of NOs.

Running Methanol because it really helps with the torque, and this thing needs all it can get when running on a horseshoe shaped mud track. And yes, it should be a Chevy!

Neither have you... Piston speeds will be around 6600 FPS with a 4.25 stroke.. it would come apart way before then...

YAWN.... Is that all? I do more then that on 100 pump gas. :flipoff2: My 2nd spare blown alky 511BBC engine made 1472 hp.
