The MULE said:I didnt break the 24 year old dried and rusted Spicers when I took them off. Just the overly priced cheap crap. And I am pretty clumsy but I dont think the fact that I cant walk has any bearing on my ability to change a u-joint. As far as what parts store to go to I will let you folks make your own poor descisions and learn from your mistakes as I have mine. Just ranting but I know that NAPA did not intend to sell me crap and they gladly refunded my hard earned dollars. And who the hell takes out u-joints with a hammer! Go buy the right tool for the job. Sheesh...a hammer!
It slices, it dices, it chops into small pieces..............The MULE said:We (friends and self ) bought a 3 in 1 tool. You can do ball joints, u-jounts and truck brake anchor pins. Cost like $40.00 from Harbor Freight. Not the best but portable.
