Cannot tell you on a 22R but my V-6 runs 190 when I pull hills it has gone to 210

In theory: You need to worry about damage at tempertatures above the boiling point of your coolant. The coolant will work effectivly untill it begins to turn to steam, then the coolant won't pull any more heat out of the metal and you will start to have problems.

On the other hand, I would be uncomfortable
with anything above 210 for very long. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
