SInce I know Cal-rocs uses your rules Im sure Ill be safe asking.

Since I have a rear engined buggy, can I just put a full hood (laying horizontal) over the engine compartment??Or do I need to have the verticle area behind the drivers head covered???

I know the rules say...

"a rear engines vehicles hood is considered the material directly behind the occupants head that separates occupants from the engine entirely"

I thought I have seen it both ways but I want to make sure!!!!

One or the other...basically, you have to be seperated from the engine. If there is no hood lid on the back, you must have a rear window.
