Now that my skills are beyond the little potential my 80amp output lincoln mig welder. I want a machine with more heat. Anyway Im looking for a stick instead of wire. What I want to know is if any machines have the option to change the input current (will run on 120 or 220-230). I know miller has that little maxstar 140 that you can change the input current, are there any other machines that offer this?

A lot of high end AC/DC stick/TIG welders are selectable from 208/230/460V single phase, but I don't know of any stick welders that are 110/220V. This is probably because you would be limited to no more than about 120A on 110 V. Bite the bullet and get the 220V
