Do a search there is a write up on it somewhere on here. Do it the right way and take apart the carrier not just weld the holes in.

Super 600 MG haven't tested them out yet but should hold just fine....(knocking on wood)

I agree do it right and take the gears out to do it. Plus if you decide to drop a locker in there later you can still do it.

welded mine with a .035 wire on a mig, and it has held up to all the punishment i can give it
