I don't know where you can get the parts, but if it was sold to you in Good working condition, I would protest the sale. If you can't get good resolution with the seller, I would definitely leave negative feedback.
I just took a part my front DL, and it has damage that is worse then what you are descibing, I won't be fixing mine, but replacing it.
