OK I already bought a 4wd 86 Toyota 4x4 PU power steering set up but now I saw a Toyota 2wd PS set up & the guy only wants $60 for the whole set up. I can see one thing that might make it worth getting is the pitman arm. It doesn't hang way down & looks to have a tapered cone for a TRE in the pitman arm too! So whadda think?? Might be worth it just for the pitman arm since a modified pitman arm is usually around $90.
Right?

Did it

I put 1/4" plate on both sides of the frame, sleved the bolt holes, on the back side there is also a 3rd mounting point.

To mount the pump, I kept the toy bracket and welded it to a piece of 1/4, then the 1/4 was welded to a piece of 3/8 so it sat flat against the mounting holes on the engine block.

I Used 1 48" V belt for everything

I'd get it.

I'm running the 2wd pump, lines, and resivour from a 2wd, with the 4x4 box (trying for the best of both worlds.. :D)

It works pretty good. It turns the 35" MTRs with the ARB on, pretty easily. My only problem is I need to rebuild the bracket I made up - it doesn't have enough belt contact, and so it squeals and has problems.
