have a guy that is selling the diffs from what is quoted as a 96 model Chev 3500 4x4
truck has coil over front end

(1) are these Dana 60's

(2) manual box would mean 4.1 ratio ?

Should be an IFS truck. No Dana 60 there. They use torsion bars, not coil springs.

Rear will be a 14-bolt full-floater - again, not a 60.

Manual box should be an NV4500. Axle ratio can be 3.73, 4.10, or 4.56.

Aussie trucks may be different but in the USA u2slow is right. Man that guy is full of info! Although I thought then the semifloats were in those trucks? Might be wrong...

semifloats only in the 2500 (3/4 ton) 3500s (1 tons) all had full float 14s
