i hate the sound of diesel, blah. what have you been <IMG SRC="smilies/smokin.gif" border="0"> maybe you just inhaled too many diesel fumes

A gas powered tow rig is going to cost you twice as much in fuel. I have a buddy that has a '00 F350 Crew Cab 4x4 that is a diesel and he averages 20mpg and can get as good as 25mpg on road trips. I have another friend that has a '01 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 with the V10 and he gets about 12mpg if he keeps his foot out of it. This coupled with the increased torque, longevity, and reliability of a diesel not to mention that diesel is cheaper than gas....well you can guess what I think <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Definately go with the deisel. But be sure to get a turbo diesel. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
