What is useful from a 74 wagoneer for swaps etc?

I have a chance at getting one for cheap with a 401 and a quadratrac.

Worth keeping it for future mods to the YJ especially the axles.

What side is the pumpkin on the front axle?

Do they come with D44 axles?

Keep it and make a good tow vehicle?

Thank you

are you sure its a 401?

yes

drivers side

44 front, offset 44 or 20 rear

i would keep the bitch for a tow rig and get axles from a regular (360) waggy or part it out and sell the block to someone deserving

I was told a 401 but it could very well be a 360

Are you saying you are more deserving for the 401 than I am.... only if you found it first.

you could part the biotch out, should be 44's in 74. Definately keep the 401, build it and put it in your YJ. sell the Turbo 400 and QT or get an adapter from bulltear.com to put the turbo 400 in front of a model 20 t-case and bam away you go.

Otherwise that Gagoneer w/ a 401 will make an awesome tow rig.
