I'm trying to find some info, pics, stories, reviews etc of build ups on 90 and newer 4 door runners. There are not many...anyone got a few good pointers? My plan is to buy a 4 dr, sas it with 5" or so springs, custom coil rear, longer links etc, 3 inch body, 37 SSR's, ARB's, 5:29's, other fun stuff, use it as a daily driver/snow rig...but I can't find anyone that has something even similar...Chris G's rig was about it..

How about cutting off behind the rear seats and putting a short bed back there. There's pictures on the general board of this without the bed.

I just bought a '90 4Runner, and I hear ya on the lack of info. The trailer queen buggy wasn't practical as a family wheelin' vehicle any more, so the 4Runner replaced it. There were already a few things done to it, but I've got a list about like yours. I built my last vehicle with no plans to ever drive it on the pavement again, but I'll probably try to keep the 4Runner pretty streetable. It's my only vehicle, and my wife and kid love to go wheelin' about as much as I do(well, not THAT much).

I just found this list of links, so I haven't had time to check any of it out, but it's a HUGE list. Definitely not all relevant, but I'm sure there's a lot in there that is.

Ryan, the guy I was telling you about with the 4Runner w/ Dana 44 & 60's & the Supra motor running around Provo is SuperRunner, Member # 3141. Look him up & shoot him a email, he seemed really cool when I posted to him on another subject. Im sure he has alot to say about SAS. Good luck! -Greg
