I own a 76' CJ7, I mostly do rock crawling like Johnsen valley, TDS, And Moab.
I was looking to go bigger on my jeep and since they do not have a MTR in 35x12.50R17 I found others, But which one should I choose?:shaking:

35x12.50R17 Nitto Mud grappler

35x12.50R17 Super Swamper SSR- 10 ply rateing

I am running a Dana 30 front with 27 spline warn chromeolly shafts, 4:56 gears, Detroit locker, Warn lockouts.
AMC 20 rear with one piece chromeolly shafts, 4:56 gears, Detroit locker.

I am running 2" spacers on the jeep as well.:D

Need the advice.

EDIT: Did not have tires in right size, The bogger and LTB.

Since you have 17's I'd look into the Hoosier dirt stocker. It's realy soft and can hold almost inverted. Try the 225/35R17 for the most side wall strength

Dana 30 front 4:56 gears.
AMC 20 rear 4:88 gears.
Need the advice.

Uh......I've heard of mud boggers running a faster ratio in the front...But not rock crawlers.

Match up the gear ratio's before you blow up your Tcase.

And stick with a 35" or smaller tire. The SSR is decent.
