Hi there,

my cj6 project is nearly finished now... and once we got it up and running, i will start the process of fine-tuning the suspension.

What are your tips/tricks to get the most out of a spoa, besides the obvious (opening clamps, lubricating the spring pack, etc...)

throw in your 2cents

thx
alfred

oh... yeah... back to work:zzz:

IT's probably too late now, but moving the springs inboard will give more travel.

Rubber bushings will flex better than poly bushings. Making sure the shackle bolts are not too tight.

Not sure offhand of some other tricks.

Longer springs and maybe even a missing link shackle. Just a couple things I've come to realize... stock springs suck @$$ (no flex; broke a bottom leaf off a leaf pack, now replacing with longer YJ springs) and use bump-stops so you don't ruin your springs. :smokin: ~Steve
