I was just wondering what options I might have, maybe looking for some neat ideas? I have a MEPCO 4 core GM/JEEP conversion rad. It includes the auto tranny cooler but, I have a manual. So, should I use it as an engine oil cooler (383 SB Chevy)? Or, use a dedicated engine oil cooler for that and use the rad cooler for a PS fluid cooler? What would most of you out there do? Thanks.

I would wait until you see how hot your motor runs before I make that choice. PS fluid runs hot so it might overheat the motor in the summer. I know it is a big rad. but it might be something to think about. I say run your shower through them and get a cooler from the junk yard.

Geez!! Sorry about the double post, I clicked back quickly to check off the "email notify".
Now that is a good idea...a hot H20 shower. If the motor runs hot, what should I use it for? If the motor runs cool, what should I use it for? Keep these ideas coming. It is always good to be thinking...look what kinda sh** we come up with when we think!! LOL

I have tried using them oil coolers for the engine, even the ones with a fan on them, but never noticed much of a difference, not any that would matter. I would use it as a PS cooler. There you will notice the difference. Just remember to mount it lower than the reservoir. My dumb as mounted it higher and created a very nice mess with the over flow. My two Centavos meng.
