i still don't know what they are :confused: sorry! what do they come out of? what's different about them? what defines a buggy spring?

argh!?!?! seriously is it that hard to explain.. it seems they only use them on toyotas from that post you showed me what's the deal with these? :confused:

It's a 3/4 elliptic setup. rather than the rear shackle attaching to the frame, it attaches to the end of 1/2 of another leaf, the other end of the 1/2 leaf attaches to the frame. This allows the axle to droop more during flex. Accomplishes the same basic thing as a revolver shackle or dual shackle setup.

Rather than haveing your shackle go to a fixed hanger mounted to the frame you have the shackle mounted to a piece of old leaf spring so it can pull away from the frame when all twisted up like this.
