When I'm spooling the winch in with a load on it and stop spooling it, it unspools. So basically it doesn't hold tension. I have to keep bumping the "in" side to keep the line taught.
Or, you can get the part NUMBER from them, and search either carparts.com or car-part.com with that number to get a *slightly* cheaper price.
I bought a new brake assembly and lower seal kit for my 8274 from DSIWarn. Ran me $120, but most of that was the disc to convert that ancient 8274 over to the newer-style brake.
